　　随着经济全球化进程的日益加深，国际组织作为致力于促进和实现全球治理的多边合作机构，在处理国际事务、解决国际矛盾和争端中发挥着愈加重要的作用，在全球政治、经济、安全及社会、文化等领域发展中扮演着关键角色。

　　With the deepening of the process of economic globalization, international organizations, as multilateral cooperation agencies dedicated to promoting and realizing global cooperation, are playing an increasingly important role in handling international affairs and resolving international conflicts and disputes. They are playing a key role in the development of social, cultural and other fields.

　　中共中央、国务院发布的《关于支持深圳建设中国特色社会主义先行示范区的意见》明确提出加快形成全面深化改革开放新格局，推动更多国际组织和机构落户深圳。这是充分发挥中国特色社会主义制度优势，充分发挥深圳核心引擎和先行示范作用，充分释放粤港澳大湾区和中国特色社会主义先行示范区“双区驱动效应”的需要，也是推动深圳现代化国际化创新型城市建设，提升深圳国际竞争力和影响力的需要。

　　The "Opinions on Supporting Shenzhen to Build a Pilot Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council clearly proposes to accelerate the formation of a new pattern of comprehensive deepening of reform and opening up, and to promote more international organizations and institutions to settle in Shenzhen. This is not only the need to give full play to the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, give full play to the core engine and leading demonstration role of Shenzhen, and fully release the “dual-zone” driving effect of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Pilot Demonstration Zone of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, but also the need to improve the construction of innovative city of Shenzhen and enhance her international competitiveness and influence.

　　In order to help Shenzhen enterprises to deepen their understanding of international organizations and utilize the resources to boost their development, CCPIT Shenzhen is doing a series of introduction of key economic and trade international organizations, especially those highly related to Shenzhen's pillar industries. The Union of International Associations (UIA), an organization that manages and publishes information about international organizations, has provided us with important support.

　　国际协会联盟(UIA)是一个非营利性非政府组织的国际研究组织，根据联合国授权，发布关于国际组织、国际会议、世界问题等资讯，总部设在比利时布鲁塞尔。该组织由1913年诺贝尔和平奖得主亨利·拉方丹与现代资讯科学奠基人保罗·奥特勒，共同创建于1907年。距今已有100多年历史，是会议、展览、旅游业里资格最老的行业协会。UIA的主要成果有《国际组织年鉴》、《国际大会日历》、《国际会议统计报告》、《世界问题与人类潜能百科全书》、协会圆桌会议等。《国际组织年鉴》是关于国际组织的权威资料，涵盖政府间和国际非政府组织，UIA按照地区、国家、学科等对所有国际组织做了分类。

　　The Union of International Associations (UIA), headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, is an international research organization of non-profit and non-governmental organizations. Under the authorization of the United Nations, it engages in publicing the information of international organizations, international conferences, and world issues, etc. UIA was founded in 1907 by Henri La Fontaine, Nobel Peace Prize laureate of 1913, and Paul Otlet, a founding father of what is now called information science. With a history of more than 100 years, it is the oldest qualified industry association in conferences, exhibitions and tourism. UIA is best known for the Yearbook of International Organizations, International Congress Calendar, International Meetings Statistics Report, Associations Round Table, and Encyclopedia of World Problems and Human Potential. The Yearbook of International Organizations is the authoritative information about international organizations, coverage includes intergovernmental (IGOs) and international non-governmental organizations (INGOs), UIA classifies all international organizations according to regions, countries, and disciplines, etc.

　　国际协会联盟的数据显示，其收录在《国际组织年鉴》中的世界范围内的国际组织达7万多个，涵盖了由300多个国家和地区组成的政府间组织和非政府组织，其中仍然正常运行的国际组织数量3.8万多个，同时还在以每年约1200个的速度在增长。2020年5月，“国际丝绸联盟”被“国际协会联盟”(UIA)《国际组织年鉴》收录，成为国际协会联盟第一个秘书处设在中国的丝绸行业国际组织。

　　According to the data of UIA, it has more than 70,000 international organizations in the "Yearbook of International Organizations", covering intergovernmental organizations and non-governmental organizations of more than 300 countries and regions. Among them, more than 38,000 international organizations are still in operation, and the number is growing at a rate of about 1,200 per year. In May 2020, after layers of approval and qualification recognition, International Silk Union (ISU) is included in the Yearbook of International Organizations, UIA, becoming the first silk international organization in the Yearbook that the secretariat locates in China.
